As the designated Teaching School Hub for Sandwell and Dudley, we have chosen to work in partnership with Ambition Institute – a national Lead Provider of the Early Career training programme.

The provider led early career training programme facilitated by Haybridge Teaching School Hub in partnership with Ambition Institute provides the following benefits to schools:

• Funded training delivered directly to Early Career Teachers and Mentors by ECTP trained Visiting Fellows. This is a mandatory, sequenced two-year programme based on the ITTECF involving self-directed study for ECTs to complete on a bi-weekly basis.
• Full access to Ambition Institute’s online platforms (MyECT and Steplab) for both Early Career Teachers and Mentors.
• Funded time off timetable for Early Career Teachers and Mentors in the second year of induction. In addition to this, funding to backfill Mentor time spent undertaking training.
• Materials to support mentor sessions designed to reduce Mentor workload.
