Assistant Head Teacher
Sarah currently works in an Ormiston Academies Trust school, as the induction tutor for ECTs and Lead Practitioner on the Teaching and Learning team.
During her 16 years in education, she has undertaken roles in subject leadership and subject line management, as well as having wider responsibilities in teaching and learning as part of the senior leadership team.
Sarah is particularly interested in teacher development at all stages; She believes our young people deserve to be taught by experts, and that high-quality CPD can support in developing this expertise. Sarah was, therefore, keen to support Haybridge Teaching School Hub in the delivery of the NPQLT. The qualification gives participants the knowledge and skills needed to lead teaching effectively in their schools, which will ultimately allow staff and students to have a first-class experience in education, leading to improved outcomes for all stakeholders.
